Jacqueline Powell earned her doctorate degree in Educational Leadership from Maryville University. She is lead guidance counselor at Normandy High School and has worked for the district for 22 years. She taught math at the high school for five years before shifting her focus to counseling. She has master’s degrees from the University of Missouri-St. Louis in school counseling and secondary education.Â
