The City of Ferguson has renewed Police Chief Troy Doyle’s employment agreement, extending his tenure through Jan. 31, 2030, according to Mayor Ella Jones.
Doyle served more than 20 years with the St. Louis County Police Department, where he rose through the ranks of sergeant, lieutenant and captain. He later held the rank of lieutenant colonel before resigning and joining the Ferguson Police Department.
