Tyrone McNichols has been named superintendent of schools for the Normandy School District after receiving was unanimous support from the school board. He currently serves as the assistant superintendent for learning and previously held the position of assistant superintendent for accountability in the Hazelwood School District. He replaces Stanton E. Lawrence, who is resigning on June 30
