St. Louis Community College enrollment for fall 2025 shows a 10% increase from the previous year. In fall 2024, STLCC enrolled 15,649 students across its campuses and education centers. For fall 2025, that number rose to 17,236.

STLCC Chancellor Jeff L. Pittman, PhD, attributes the increase to creation and expansion of programs that prepare students for their future and align with workforce needs.

“Our team has listened to our students, employers and community to help create academic and technical programs that prepare students to enter the workforce or learn a trade, earn a certification, or continue their education at a four-year college or university,” Pittman said. “And we’ve made significant efforts to do this while keeping our quality high and tuition affordable.”

The college has seen strong growth in health sciences. To help address a shortage of healthcare professionals, STLCC has opened new Nursing and Health Sciences Centers on its Forest Park, Florissant Valley and Wildwood campuses, featuring 21 programs across the district.

Florissant Valley and Forest Park also include a dental hygiene program and low-cost dental clinic for community members. The new health science buildings expand the district’s nursing program capacity to 840 seats, the largest in Missouri.
