In this week’s photo gallery, youth creativity takes center stage during the Saint Louis Art Museum’s MLK Celebration, The Dream Reimagined: Youth Voices Uplifted, showcasing young artists from across the region. The gallery also previews Black Creatives in the Lou, founded by Yolanda “Yoro” Newson, as the collective prepares to return to Neiman Marcus with a Black History Month fashion event spotlighting local designers and artists. Community resilience is reflected as Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, in partnership with the City of St. Louis, hosts a rededication unveiling of the MLK statue in Fountain Park following tornado damage. And scenes from a recent Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis food drive capture neighbors coming together to support families in need.
