This week’s photo gallery spotlights the St. Louis chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists as they honor four trailblazing media professionals – Gloria Ross, Reginald Riddle-Young, Shirley Washington, and Mike Claiborne—as this year’s Living Legends, honoring their lasting impact on journalism and storytelling. At the Missouri History Museum, visitors explored The Mill Creek Exhibit, reflecting on the neighborhood’s vibrant legacy and the resilience of its displaced residents. And in the classroom, University City High School math teacher Malinda Baker exemplifies dedication and compassion, continuing to inspire students after more than two decades of teaching “because of the heart I have for students.”
