Case 1– Hard working family of seven continues to press to make ends meet and care for their five children, ages 16, 12, 9, 9 and 8. Currently they are living on one income trying to maintain their home. This family could benefit from clothing, educational toys, books, STEM activity sets for son who would like to become an engineer, arts and crafts, household supplies, boots, coats and shoes.
Case 2 – Single mother of two – a boy, 9, and girl, 8 – is working on rebuilding her credit in efforts of moving into her own home. She tries very hard to keep her children in a positive environment. This family could benefit from clothing, shoes, books, coats, boots, educational toys and household goods.
Case 3- Single mother of three boys – ages 11, 6 and 5 – is enrolled in community college and soon will be completing her degree. The boys are very active in sports baseball and football; the 11-year-old enjoys science. This family could use help with utility assistance, gas cards, educational toys, books, clothing, hats and gloves, and basic household goods.
Case 4– Single mother with one 4-year-old daughter was in a recent car accident that required her to miss work, which caused a backup in bills. A lot of misfortunes have also occurred and this family needs to be uplifted, for she now has to care for a 2-year-old nephew. Utility assistance, clothing, educational toys, books and household goods are needed.
Case 5 – Mother of two small children is attending community college. She was working but due to downsizing lost her job, and as a result is staying with family members in hopes of keeping the family together. They could benefit from clothing, coats, hats, gloves, boots, educational toys, job opportunities and/or gift cards.
Case 6 – Grandmother is caring for her disabled son and raising his five children, two girls (14, 5) and three boys (15, 8 and 3). They need an electric stove, refrigerator, household goods, clothing, boots, coats, books and educational toys for kids.
Case 7– Family of seven, with a mother and father who attends community college. They have one disabled child. Dad has medical issues, but works hard to complete his assignments. This family could use a desktop computer, homework for the children, educational toys, books and clothing.
Case 8– Single mother of four, who recently lost her job and now has no viable income, is currently enrolled in community college and will soon earn her associates’ degree. Let’s encourage her to keep pushing forward and trust that things will turn around. She would welcome assistance with utility assistance, rent, educational toys, books, clothing, coats, boots, hats and gloves.
