CHARLES THOMAS GOODEN, transitioned this life peacefully at his home in Olivette, Missouri, Tuesday, October 8, 2024. He leaves to cherish his memory, daughter Angela Gooden, nephews, Charles Walton, Kenneth Taylor, Marc Taylor, Victor Taylor, nieces, Denise Walton, Oleandria Walton, God Children, Gilda Travagline, Erika Hickman, Era Mitchell. Charles served in the St. Louis Public School System thirty (30) years and twenty years with Harris Stowe State University. Charles is predeceased by his wife of fifty-nine years, Frances Gooden, his parents, Charles and Beatrice Gooden, his sister, Rosie Walton.
