The year 2008 is the year for new beginnings. The number eight represents new beginnings. This means that whatever has not been bringing success into your life, can be changed this year. You can declare and decree that the success that belongs to you will be manifested in the year 2008.
If you are going to see a positive change in your life there must be consistent action. Wishing and hoping by themselves will not bring into your life the changes you desire. You must become a doer of the Word. “Faith without works is dead.”
If you are one of God’s children, there is unlimited power living on the inside of you. The power of God in you is just waiting to be tapped. God is not going to force or beg you to tap into that power. You must first know that the power is living within you. You are only weak if you believe that you have no strength. In order to tap into the power, thoughts of weakness can have no place in your life. You must get rid of every negative thought as it relates to your lack of ability.
God’s power in you must be released out into the universe so that it can bring about the necessary changes that you desire in life. If you continue to speak defeat and failure that is what you are going to get. The negative speaking habits that you use each day must change. You must begin to see yourself as an authority figure in the earth. God has placed the earth in the hands of His children. Psalms 115:16 says, “The heaven are the Lord’s heavens, but the earth has He given to the children of men.” You now have dominion in the earth through Jesus Christ. You can change the atmosphere in your home, community and job if you operate in the power of God.
God has already given the things that you desire in life to you. You must seek wisdom from God in order to know how to tap into the things that have been freely given. Wisdom comes through the word of God, prayer, meditation and study. The more you connect with God through His Word and begin to fellowship with the Holy Spirit, the more knowledge you will receive. You will never be able to advance beyond the knowledge that you have received from the Word of God.
The time is out for living in lack, with sickness and disease and a lifestyle of failure and defeat. You must desire to come into the knowledge of who you became when you joined the family of God. You have been birthed into royalty. You are more than a conqueror. God’s power lives in you. You have been given authority to speak a desire and see it become a reality. You are an overcomer by Jesus’ Blood and your testimony. No good thing will be withheld from you when you walk upright. This lack of knowledge could keep you in bondage the rest of your life. You must become determined to live by the word of God daily releasing the power that lives in you.
God has instructed me to declare the week we refer to as Holy Week to be a Week of Empowerment. Each day you must become determine to release God’s power out of your life. Begin each day with prayer, speaking only what you want to happen. Speak victory and success over yourself, family, friends, community, negative circumstances and any situation that cannot be confirmed with the word of God.
During this week, allow no negative or evil communication to come out of your mouth. Do not talk about problems only solutions. Do not talk about circumstances, only the results that you expect to see manifested through your life. Refrain from speaking about your needs. Instead, replace your needs with promises that are being fulfilled. Never speak about pass hurts. Begin to walk in love and total forgiveness. Expect the best to be manifested even when everything seems to be going the negative way. Remember that God will perfect whatever concerns you. Become determined that you will walk by faith and trust God in every situation knowing that victory will be yours.
God wants to see His people walk in victory and success. He gets no glory out of your failure. Stop and think why you are in your present stage in life. If it is negative and filled with defeat, this is not God’s will for your life. It is the life you have generated because of a lack of knowledge and understanding of how to position yourself to receive the blessing that have been given to you by God.
God’s power is in you. You have power to overcome any problem or challenge that you may be facing in life. It is time for the Body of Christ to tap into the unlimited source of Power that is ever available and begin to move with authority calling things that are yet to come as if they have already manifested.
