Are you one of God’s children who grew up embracing the same insight that I had concerning how to receive from God? For years I believed that once I prayed all I had to do was wait on God. Well, I was highly mistaken. I actually thought waiting meant sitting around expecting the blessings to come because I was a child of God who had prayed. Well, nothing happened for a long time until I begin to seek God for revelation knowledge, wisdom and understanding.
I found out that faith without corresponding works is dead. God is going to work through (with) you to accomplish the desires of your heart.
God is the pilot and you are the co-pilot. You are working in harmony together to accomplish the goals and dreams that He has placed in your heart. God by His Spirit living in you wants to orchestrate and direct every step you take. He is the one Who orders your steps. “The steps of a righteous man are ordered by the Lord.” He is the greater one living in you providing you with the power, ability, insight and direction so that you will be able to succeed in life.
Faith is the substance that opens the doors to victory in your life. Once the door has been opened you must walk through with confidence that everything that you expect and desire will become a reality. Do not be afraid to step out in faith. If you know for a fact that God has given you a vision for development then you must know that with that vision came provision. You must know that doubt comes from the devil. Remember, he came to steal, kill and destroy which means that his desire is to see you fail.
Walking by faith will open the flood gates for the resources that are needed to come to you. God has a unique and creative plan for your life. He has the resources that you need and a plan for getting them to you. Your heavenly Father is not going to release anything into your life until you exercise faith. Remember, “without faith it is impossible to please Him.” Once continuous faith coupled with action is released into the universe the need will be met.
Most people lose the blessing that has been planned for their lives because they want to see something before they receive the manifestation. Your confidence and security must come from God. Receiving the fullness of the desires of your heart will only manifest when you walk by faith.
You must know without a doubt that God is going to keep His word. Confessing the promises day and night will give you the ability to stand in the face of adversity and see the salvation of the Lord.
We are overcomers. God’s plan will never fail us We are living under an unfailing covenant given to us thousands of years ago. All that we need has been given. But, we must get up and take action now! Stop procrastinating. Seek counsel and direction from the Holy Spirit and then begin to take steps of faith that will produce the victory that you have been waiting to see come into you life. Start you faith walk today with the expectation of the outpouring of God’s blessing into your life. We must “walk by faith and not by sight.”
