” For though we walk (live) in the flesh, we are not carrying on our warfare according to the flesh and using mere human weapons. For the weapons of our warfare are not physical (weapons of flesh and blood), but they are mighty before God for the overthrow and destruction of strongholds. (Inasmuch) as we) refute arguments and theories and reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the (true) knowledge of God; and we lead every thought and purpose away captive into the obedience of Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed One).
IICor. 10:3-5
Prayer is a powerful weapon given to us by God that is able to pull down and destroy every evil work that exist in the earth. When God’s children consistently release His power over their problems or negative circumstances nothing is impossible to them.
Prayer along with the Word of God, the Name of Jesus, the Blood of Jesus and faith are all powerful weapons given to us by God so that the victorious life that has been promised can and will become a reality in each believer’s life. These weapons when they are used to attack a situation in your life will destroy and remove every thing that has tried to come against the knowledge of God in your life.
When we talk about the knowledge of God, it is referring to the what the word says about your problem or circumstances. When sickness and disease comes into you life, that infirmity has come against the knowledge of God. When lack and poverty exist in a believers life, it has come against the knowledge of God. The knowledge says that “by Jesus’ stripes you were healed. God desires that you prosper and be in health as your soul prospers.” When your life is contrary to the word of God, that situation has come against the knowledge of God. You must know what to do in order to bring every circumstances back in line with the promises of God. Prayer is the answer to removing every obstacle that may have you fenced in.
Prayer, when mixed with all the other weapons, become more powerful than any physical weapon made by man. It is God’s power released into the universe that will level an attack on everything that may try to be more powerful than God. When you have prayed in faith without any doubt in your heart, the results that you desire will become a manifestation. When you add the word of God, the Name of Jesus and apply the blood to any problem that is trying to exalt itself against the knowledge of God, your weapons will bring it down and destroy it at the root.
When you pray, you must believe that you have received what has been requested. The Bible says, “you can have what you say.” Once you have spoken your request as if it was already granted, add another weapon. Praise and thanksgiving mixed with prayer increases the power of God. Offering thanks before the manifestation comes is saying to God, I trust You to do what Your Word has promised. You can now say, I know that I have the thing that I desire and it is just a matter of time before I actually receive it in physical form. Therefore, I can wait patiently for it with a heart filled with thanksgiving because, I know that I know that I have what I have spoken out of my mouth in faith.
Midweek prayer and Bible study is the service that has the smallest amount of attendance. When you fail to pray and receive the word of God, you set yourself up for failure. You are lacking in faith because” faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God.” When you do not know the word of God and prayer is something that someone does for you, the gate of failure and destruction has been left open.
We are commanded by God to” pray without ceasing”. This means that we are to pray about everything and worry about nothing.
People of God, you must come into the knowledge that the power of God lives in you. When you pray, God’s power is released through you out into the universe creating a climate for the thing that you desire to be given. Do not worry where the blessing will come from. You must believe God’s Word. If you do not know the word, how can you believe what you do not know.
There is nothing impossible with God. No word from the mouth of God is every lacking and power, force and might. Your victory is guaranteed when you use the weapon of prayer along with all the other weapons. You will never need to engage in a physical fight if you use your weapons for every battle that comes before you. Stand firm on the word of God in prayer with thanksgiving and you will see the manifestation of God power working through your life. Hear His word saying to you,”Is there anything too hard for God.?” With faith and prayer, all things are possible.
