“ For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh: For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds; Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every though the obedience of Christ.” II Cor. 10:3-5 (KJV)
“As you think, so you become.” Our thoughts are more powerful than most people realize. The thoughts that are allowed to linger in the mind will always produce a harvest. You are today what you thought about months and even years ago.
There is something that you can do about negative and unproductive thoughts that come into your mind to produce failure and destruction. The Word of God lets you know that you have been given weapons that can pull down strongholds that come into your life.
Negative thoughts that come into your mind and are allowed to linger there day after day eventually build up and develop strongholds. Failure and defeat are produced from strongholds. These negative thoughts appear to be so real that they cause you to speak what you are thinking in your mind.
These thoughts start early in the minds of many individuals. Negative nicknames and slang words such is “dog, clown, fool, dumb, lazy, stupid,” and many other negative words when spoken into the mind create negative images that may follow individuals for the rest of their lives.
Negative words spoken over and over into the mind of individuals both young and old create strongholds that prevent them from seeing themselves as successful individuals with the unlimited potential that God has given them. In many cases, these persons have been given great gifts of talent and ability to achieve unlimited success in life. Unless someone replaces the negative images with positive ones, their entire life could be filled with failure.
The Bible says that we have weapons that can get rid of negative and destructive thoughts. His word lets us know that we can live a life filled with success and victory.

The word of God is truth and it cannot lie. If you speak, believe and expect every outcome in your life to be victorious, it will manifest in the way you think it, speak it and believe it.
Matt.18:18 says,” Whatsoever you bind and declare unlawful in your life is already bound in heaven. Whatsoever you loose and declare to be lawful in your life is already loosed in heaven.”
Start today binding negative thoughts of failure and defeat over your life. Replace those negative thoughts with positive and productive words that will destroy the old negative thoughts. You will begin to see yourself the way God sees you. Remember, “All of God’s Promises are yes and so be it.”
You have been created in the image of God. You have His DNA living in you. There is no failure in God; therefore failure does not belong to you. The power, ability and authority to remove negative thoughts from your life live in you.
