For nearly two decades, Terrell Ramey has been putting together tremendous basketball showcase events for the St. Louis area fans.

On Saturday, Rameybasketball will present its 18th annual Midwest Showdown Shootout, which will be held at Meramec Community College. The seven-game event will feature teams from Missouri, Illinois, Wisconsin, Indiana and Tennessee.

Here is a look at the seven games from the Midwest Showdown Shootout.

SLUH vs. Mater Dei (IL), 11:30 a.m. – The opening game features SLUH, who is led by 6’5” junior guard John Hawkins, who averages 18 points a game. Mater Dei features one of the top scorers in the metro east in senior guard Gavin Pepenhorst, who averages 23 points a game.

CBC vs. Memphis Business Academy (TN), 1 p.m. – The Cadets have a talented young team led by freshman point guard Stacy Sorrell III, sophomore Triston Howard and 6’6” senior forward Jacob Plummer-First. MBA is led by senior guard Larry Benson, who averaged 20 points a game last season, and 6’4” senior guard Ethan Caswell.

St. Mary’s vs. Springfield Sacred Heart Griffin (IL), 2:30 p.m. – St. Mary’s is off to a 7-2 start behind 6’4” senior forward Gary Johnson, who is one of the most explosive athletes in the St. Louis area. Guards Josh Grimes and Xavier Clark are a pair of talented juniors. He is averaging 18 points a game. Sacred Heart Griffin is a Class 3A state power in the state of Illinois. They have an outstanding junior class, led by Myles Montgomery, Terrion Wallace and Tereik Hurd.

DeSmet vs. Chicago Mt. Carmel (IL), 4 p.m. – DeSmet is one of the top teams in the St. Louis area. They are led by a pair of Division I recruits in 6’4” senior Jordan Boyd and 6’3” senior Ian Thomas. Boyd has signed with Northern Iowa while Thomas is headed to Indiana State. Junior Will Foulk leads the Spartans in scoring. Mt. Carmel is led by 6’7” senior forward Luke Segroves, who has committed to St. Norbert, along with talented freshmen Dekaylen Heard and Ronald Johnson.

East St. Louis vs. 21st Century (IN), 5:30 p.m. – East St. Louis fields one of the top teams in the metro east and in Illinois Class 3A. The Flyers are led by 6’3” senior guard Alex Johnson and 6’8” senior forward Jamison White, who has signed with Penn State. They are joined by 6’8” senior forward Jahidi White Jr. 21st Century is led by Missouri State recruit Terrance Hayes, guard Ryan Mosley and 6’8” junior forward Kaleb Young.

Vashon vs. Kankakee (IL), 7 p.m. – Vashon is off to an excellent 5-0 start while playing a group of talented teams from outside the St. Louis area. This will be their first game in town. They are led by the excellent guard tandem of junior Jimmy McKinney III and senior Kain McCaskill. Both were a big part of the Wolverines state championship team a year ago. Kankakee features one of the top prospects in Illinois in 6’6” senior Lincoln Williams. Another top player is 6’8” senior forward EJ Hazlett, who has committed to Indiana State.

Cardinal Ritter vs. Nicolet (WI), 8:30 p.m. – Cardinal Ritter continues its difficult non-conference schedule with a battle against the Wisconsin state power. The Lions are led by seniors Oscar Patterson, Ismael Isidor and Brian Lewis. Nicolet has a national Top 100 prospect in 6’7” junior Deuce McDuffie along with senior guard Rashaad Davis, who has committed to Southern Utah.
