Saint Louis University moved up three spots to No. 21 in the latest Associated Press college basketball national rankings this week.

It’s the highest that the Billikens have been ranked in the polls since March of 2014.

The Billikens made their debut in the national poll last week at No. 24, then proceeded to win road games at Duquesne and St. Bonaventure to improve their record to 7-0 in the Atlantic 10 Conference and 19-1 overall.

The Billikens’ 19-1 record equals the best start of the season in the program’s history. The 1993-94 team achieved the same record after 20 games en route to earning the school’s first berth in the NCAA Tournament in 37 years. They are also currently on a 13-game winning streak.

SLU will return to action on Tuesday night against visiting George Washington in an A-10 game at Chaifetz Arena. Tip-off is at 7 p.m. The game will be televised on FanDuel Sports Network Extra/ESPN+ and broadcast on KMOX-1120 AM.
