Dasia Scott of Principia, Jordyn Haywood of MICDS and Hailey Gray of Belleville East are outstanding young players with tremendous talent.

Here is a look at the 2026 St. Louis American Girls “Fab Five” First Team All-Stars
Hailey Gray (Belleville East): The 5’8″ sophomore guard led the Lancers on an historic run to a third-place finish in the Illinois Class 4A state tournament. She is a three-level scoring threat who can also create her own shot off the dribble. As a sophomore, she averaged 14.9 points, 3.2 assists and 3.3 steals while shooting 48 percent from the field and making 48 3-pointers in leading East to a 30-2 record.

Jordyn Haywood (MICDS): The 6’1″ sophomore guard lived up to her reputation as one of the top young prospects in the country, leading the Rams to a runner-up finish in the Class 5 state tournament. She had a remarkable performance in the state semifinals against Marshfield with 35 points, 16 rebounds, five steals and two blocks. As a sophomore, she averaged 25.7 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.2 steals and 2.5 blocks while also making 49 3-pointers. She has already received scholarship offers from several top colleges nationwide.

Neveah Lucious (Incarnate Word): The 6’3″ senior forward finished her career as the leading scorer for a Red Knights team that won another Class 6 state championship. She was the anchor in the middle for IWA for the past two state championship seasons with her ability to score, rebound and block shots. As a senior, she averaged 13.1 points and 6.8 rebounds while shooting 68 percent from the field. She is headed to Missouri State University next season.

Diamond Polk (Lift for Life): The 5’8″ senior guard led the Hawks to their third consecutive state championship. Her senior leadership was more important than ever this season as she guided the Hawks through adversity, which included season-ending injuries to All-State guards Amaya and Cara Manuel and an injury to fellow guard Zha Harris.
Polk is a smooth shooting guard who can light it up from 3-point range. She made 60 3-pointers during the season. As a senior, she averaged 14 points, three rebounds and two steals per game.

Dasia Scott (Principia): The 6’2″ junior forward is the 2026 St. Louis American Player of the Year. She enjoyed a dominant season, leading the Panthers to the Class 3 state championship—the first in the school’s history in girls’ basketball. She anchored the Panthers inside, but she also had the versatility to excel anywhere on the court. As a junior, she averaged 20.9 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.4 steals while making 55 3-pointers and blocking 46 shots. Her most dominant performance came in the semifinals of the Visitation Christmas Tournament when she had 40 points and 18 rebounds in a victory over Belleville East.
