The Los Angeles Rams are tied for the best record in the National Football Conference with the Philadelphia Eagles and St. Louisan Kyren Williams has been a big part of the team’s success.
The former Vianney High star is having another excellent season for the Rams, who are currently 8-2 and in first place in the NFC West.
Williams had a very productive game in the Rams 21-19 victory over the Seattle Seahawks last Sunday in a showdown for first place in the division. Williams rushed for 91 yards on 12 carries and scored a touchdown. Williams also reached a special milestone in the victory over Seattle. He broke loose for a 30-yard run in the first quarter, which put him in the Top 10 in the history of the Rams’ franchise for rushing yards.
For the season, Williams has rushed for 750 yards on 158 carries and six touchdowns. He also has 38 receptions for 182 yards and three more TDs.
Williams is on track for his third consecutive season of rushing for at least 1,000 yards. He rushed for 1,299 yards and 14 touchdowns last season. In 2023, he rushed for 1,144 yards and 12 touchdowns.
