The opening of the Northside Movement Center has been years in the making, says Co-Founder and Action St. Louis Exec. Director Kayla Reed when the St. Louis American spoke with her and Co-Founder and Exec. Director of ArchCity Defenders Blake Strode on Friday, Feb. 27. The center located at 5939 Goodfellow is a “community rooted home for organizing, advocacy and care on the Northside.”
