*Missouri State Wrestling

The Missouri State High School Athletic Association Wrestling Championships will be held this weekend at the Hearnes Center on the campus of the University of Missouri-Columbia. The competition begins today and will conclude on Saturday night with the championship matches, beginning at 5 p.m.

*University of Missouri

Men’s Basketball: The Tigers will visit Nebraska on Saturday night at 8 p.m. Mizzou will then host Colorado on Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 6 p.m. Both Big XII Conference games will be televised on Charter Cable.

Women’s Basketball: Mizzou will visit Oklahoma in a Big XII contest on Saturday at 4 p.m. The game will be televised on Fox Sports-Midwest.

*Saint Louis University

Men’s Basketball: The Billikens will visit Louisville on Sunday at 4 p.m. The game will be televised on Charter Cable. SLU will host UAB on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at the Savvis Center. Tip-off is at 7:10 p.m. Both are Conference USA games.

Women’s Basketball: The Billikens will host DePaul on Friday night at 7 p.m. SLU will then host Marquette on Sunday at 2 p.m. Both Conference USA games will be played at the Bauman-Eberhardt Center.

*University of Illinois

Men’s Basketball: The No. 1 ranked Fighting Illini will visit Iowa on Saturday morning at 11:15 a.m. The Fighting Illini will host Northwestern on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. Both Big Ten Conference games will be televised on Charter Cable.

*Southern Illinois University

Men’s Basketball: The Salukis will visit Kent State on Saturday at 5 p.m. in a “Bracket Busters” game, which will be televised on ESPN-2. SIUC will host Northern Iowa in a Missouri Valley Conference game on Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 7:05 p.m.

*St. Louis Flight

Sat. Feb. 19: St. Louis at Arkansas, 7:05 p.m.

Sun. Feb. 20: Texas at St. Louis, 2:05 p.m.

Tues. Feb. 22: Colorado at St. Louis, 7:05 p.m.

* Boxing

Fri. Feb. 18 and Sat. Feb. 19: The Henry Armstrong/Diamond Gloves Tournament, Cherokee Rec Center, 7 pm. Proceeds from the annual tournament help to pay local boxers’ travel expenses for regional and national tournaments. Volunteers are needed. Call Debra Craig at 353-1250.

Thurs., Feb. 24: Ozark Boxing and St. Louis Amateur Boxing hosting an amateur card, Two Hearts Banquet Center, South Lindbergh at Gravois, 7:30. The show will help raise money for a trip to the national championships.
