Nikki Stafford, a pediatric health care executive with more than two decades of experience leading children’s hospitals and health systems, has been named president of St. Louis Children’s Hospital.

Stafford most recently served as president of American Family Children’s Hospital and system vice president of pediatric services for UW Health Kids in Madison, Wisconsin, where she oversaw pediatric operations and services across the health system.

Before joining UW Health, Stafford held leadership positions with Prisma Health Children’s Hospital-Upstate and other South Carolina health systems. She earned a master’s degree in occupational therapy from Washington University in St. Louis.
