Sean “Diddy” Combs will be sentenced on Oct. 3 for his two prostitution convictions after his lawyers and the prosecution reached an agreement.

People.com reported that Combs’ lawyers formally proposed the Oct. 3 sentencing in a letter to presiding Judge Arun Subramanian. The letter noted that prosecutors and probation officers at the Southern District of New York had agreed to the schedule.

According to People.com, lawyers for both sides participated in a brief telephone conference on Tuesday afternoon, with neither Combs nor Subramanian present.

Combs, whose trial concluded last week, was found guilty on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution. He was acquitted of sex trafficking and racketeering charges.

Combs’ attorneys sought his immediate release on $1 million bond, but the application was denied after the government and Combs’ former partner Cassie Ventura requested he remain in detention until his sentencing.

The government is reportedly seeking to sentence Combs to between 51 and 63 months in jail. The defense is recommending a 21 to 27 month sentence. Combs will remain incarcerated at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center until sentencing, where he will likely get credit for over a year of time served.
