Six years after being fired from Destiny’s Child, R&B singer LeToya Luckett may still be getting beef from her former family.

Industry insiders are buzzing that her former bandmate Beyoncé Knowles is rushing out her next album, B-Day, to sabotage Luckett’s success.

Beyoncé and her father-manager, Matthew Knowles, who also managed Destiny’s Child, have made B-Day available for preorders before the Sept. 4 release. Insiders claim it’s an attempt to distract fans from LeToya and undercut her sales.

In 2001, LeToya and ex-Destiny’s Child member LaTavia Roberson settled their breach-of-contract and fraud suits against Beyoncé’s dad and the girl group. “There was supposed to be this whole peace treaty between the girls,” an insider said. ” The fact is, this is supposed to be over and in the past.”

Despite the alleged hate campaign, her self-titled debut still managed to make its way to the top of the Billboard charts.
