Beloved actress Nia Long was honored with the 2,857th star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Wednesday, September 16. Long received her star in the Motion Pictures category at 6150 Hollywood Boulevard, surrounded by family, friends and some familiar faces from throughout her career. Snoop Dogg and “Michael” producer Graham King served as guest speakers for the ceremony.
Her mother, Talita Long, and her sons, Massai Dorsey II and Kez Udoka, joined her for the milestone.
“The nucleus of this star is a force who once doubted herself,” Long said. “A girl from Brooklyn with Caribbean roots who doesn’t suffer fools and expects transparency from everyone that loves her.”
