Young Noble – a rapper who worked closely with rap legend Tupac Shakur and was featured on the infamous diss track “Hit Em Up” – has reportedly died by suicide. TMZ Hip Hop was first to report the passing of Noble, who was born Rufus Lee Cooper III.

The celebrity news and gossip site said he died from a gunshot wound that appeared self-inflicted on Friday morning.

Noble got his big break in hip hop after joining the Outlawz rap group in early 1996.

  1. Noble was not one Hit em up. He was on Hail Mary. He got songs with Eminem, Bone Thugs, Scarface & more. A hip hop legend. You guys got him confused with another Outlaw.

  2. My deepest condolences to Young Noble’s family, friends, and fans. His talent, words, and spirit left a lasting mark in music and in the hearts of so many. May his legacy continue to inspire, and may his loved ones find comfort and strength in this difficult time.
    Sincerely,
