Popular rapper Lil Baby [Dominique Jones] was arrested at a Las Vegas casino after being seen with a gun in his waistband on Aug. 26.
Wynn Las Vegas security suspected Lil Baby was carrying a concealed weapon without a permit while gambling on the casino floor of Encore and informed the police.
Lil Baby put the firearm into a duffel bag and handed it to another person, who was apprehended, and the gun was later impounded.
In speaking with law enforcement, Lil Baby said he had forgotten he had taken a gun with him and eventually said, “just to arrest him for the charge and let’s go as he wanted to get the charge over with,” according to an initial police report.
Lil Baby’s attorneys claim he has a concealed carry permit from Georgia.
