Sal Martinez was appointed CEO of Employment Connection, replacing long-time CEO Brenda Mahr, who has announced her retirement. The mission of Employment Connection is “To assist individuals with limited opportunities to self-sufficiency.” Most recently he served as executive director of the North Newstead Association, and previously he chaired the St. Louis Housing Authority.
