Grand Center, Inc. has received a gift of $750,000 from Jack and Susan Taylor for the beautification of the Grand Center District. The gift, which requires matching funds, provides capital for three projects: Lighting the exterior of St. Alphonsus “Rock” Church (1118 North Grand Blvd.), the production and installation of a vertical blade sign on the exterior of Powell Hall, and street and sidewalk enhancements to portions of Grand Blvd. in the District.
