Nearly 400 Downtown supporters are expected to attend the Annual Meeting of the Partnership for Downtown St. Louis on Thursday, June 28 at the Renaissance Grand Hotel. This year’s keynote speaker is Ron Kruszewski, Chairman, President and CEO, Stifel Nicolaus.

He is a former chairman of the Board for the Partnership for Downtown St. Louis and current chairman of Downtown Now!  Under his leadership, Stifel has grown revenue from $100 million to $1.4 billion, and the firm’s market cap has risen from $40 million to more than $2 billion.

An active corporate leader who serves on the boards of RCGA, Barnes Jewish Hospital, and Webster University, Kruszewski will explain why he is “bullish on Downtown St. Louis” and why everyone should understand that Downtown’s success is critical to the success of the entire St. Louis region.

Development displays featuring projects underway or planned will open at 11:15 am and the 2012 Downtown Progress Report that focuses on Downtown St. Louis’ initiatives and accomplishments will also be featured at the meeting.
