J. Danielle Carr, national director of Diversity and Inclusion at Polsinelli, received the 2017 Torchbearer Award from the Missouri Asian American Bar Association. She is the first African-American woman to receive this honor. She is pictured with St. Louis License Collector Mavis Thompson, a former president of the National Bar Association, and Jittaun A. Dill, the new national coordinator of Diversity and Inclusion for Polsinelli. Carr also recently received the Ronda F. Williams Service Award from the St. Louis University Black Students Association with and the Women’s Justice Enterprise Award from Missouri Lawyer’s Media. Carr, who serves on the National Bar Association’s Board of Governors, received a 2015 Business Performance Award from the St. Louis American Foundation.
