Two local attorneys were highlighted in the “America’s Top Corporate Counsels” section in the August edition of Black Enterprise magazine.
Mark Darrell, senior vice president and general counsel for The Laclede Group and Laclede Gas Co. was highlighted along with Keith H. Williamson, who is senior vice president, secretary and general counsel for Centene Corp.
Darrell is responsible for all legal matters related to the utility’s retail sales and distribution. He joined Laclede in 2004 with more than 21 years of experience in the energy business including senior legal positions at Columbia Gas of Virginia and its affiliate NiSource.
Williamson serves as chief attorney for Centene’s legal, government relations and compliance departments, a position he has held since 2006. Prior to joining Centene, he spent 18 years with Pitney Bowes, where he held various positions in tax, finance and legal operations.
