Workers laid off from their jobs can learn how to start a business at a 27-hour “FastTrac New Venture for Dislocated Workers” program offered free of charge by University of Missouri Extension and Missouri Small Business Development Centers.
The five-day program will be held March 6, 8, 9, 14 and 15, 9:30 a.m. to 4p.m. each day at the J.C. Penney Conference Center on University of Missouri-St. Louis’ campus.
The program provides a practical, hands-on, business development approach that helps individuals obtain the skills needed to create, manage and grow a successful business.
