Federal employees in the Greater St. Louis Area contributed more than $3.2 million to a variety of local and national charities during the 2007 Gateway Combined Federal Campaign (CFC). This year’s campaign slogan, Every 1 Makes a Difference, was the calling slogan for the hundreds of volunteers who gave diligently of their time to contact over 20,000 federal employees working in the Greater St. Louis Area.

From these efforts, the 2007 CFC raised over $3.2 million, exceeding its 2006 CFC by $200,000. Nationally, CFC is recognized as the largest and most successful workplace fundraising model in the world. All contributions to the CFC are tax-deductible, and all charities, which apply to participate, go through an annual review process lead by teams of federal employees. Federal workers’ contributions will benefit a wide range of charities, strengthening programs throughout the Greater St. Louis Area as well as others across the country and around the world.

More details about this year’s campaign can be found at the Gateway CFC website: www.GatewayCFC.org.
