Last Saturday, 62 pre-registered representatives and potential buyers of the McGowan/Walsh Ballpark Lofts at Cupples Station at 9th and Spruce came to give downtown city living a significant and historic economic shot in the arm.
The potential loft buyers, mostly empty nesters, first-time homebuyers and sports enthusiasts from throughout the region (and as far away as Texas and Florida) participated in McGowan/Walsh’s intense NFL-type draft concept headed up by loft developers Kevin McGowan and Nat Walsh.
Within one hour and fifteen minutes of this unique selection and contract-signing event, 61 of the 68 lofts had been snatched up with almost $12 million in loft revenue sales for the locally based downtown loft developers.
