Michael Roberts, chairman and CEO of The Roberts Companies, will deliver a lecture entitled “Building a Legacy and the Future of Emerging Entrepreneurs,” at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 13 at the University of Missouri-St. Louis Blanche M. Touhill Performing Arts Center
Roberts started his first company, Roberts-Roberts & Associates, in 1974 with his brother, Steve.
The Roberts Companies has grown into a multifaceted business organization, which includes television and radio broadcasting properties, hotel ownership and real estate development.
Locating his headquarters in the heart of St. Louis, his endeavors have created thousands of jobs and entrepreneurial opportunities for African-Americans.
A reception and book signing for Roberts’ “Action Has No Season” will begin at 6:30 p.m.
