Deborah Allen has been named regional vice president of communications and marketing for the Midwest Affiliate of the American Heart Association. She manages a nine-member team of communications and marketing director in three states with a main office in the St. Louis. She will split her time between Kansas, Indianapolis and out-state Missouri.
Allen grew up in north St. Louis attending public and private secondary schools to go on to attain her bachelor and master’s degrees from Webster University. As a part of her academic experience Allen lived and studied abroad in places like South African, London and Vienna. She serves as outreach director for Stray Dog Theatre, a local theatre company.
