Denise McField was inducted into the 2019 Missouri Sports Hall of Fame for Track and Field. As head coach at Berkeley High School from 1986 to 1993, McField led girls track and field teams to win state championships in 1990, 1991, and 1993. Originally from Jamaica, she also represented her home country as an alternate in the 4×100 meter relay in the 1976 Summer Olympics. She is now a physical education teacher at Jefferson Elementary School.
