Dr. John A. Wright Sr. has been appointed to the Missouri Charter Public Schools Commission by Gov. Jay Nixon. Wright served as an administrator in St. Louis area schools from 1962 to 2008, including serving as interim superintendent for St. Louis Public Schools and for the Normandy School District, and as assistant superintendent for the Ferguson-Florissant School District. He currently is an adjunct faculty member of Fontbonne University.
