The City of Berkeley has promoted Frank McCall Jr. to colonel and to the position of chief of police.
Chief McCall began his nearly 20 years of duty with the department as a patrolman. He is a graduate of the FBI National Academy, served in the U.S. Marine Corp., and worked in law enforcement with the Marines.
