Gayle Williams of Black Jack was honored with the Legal Service Award during the Mound City Bar Association’s annual Scovel Richardson Scholarship Dinner. Williams is associate director of Administration for Legal Services of Eastern Missouri. She was honored for her commitment to the community, public service and for improving the quality of justice. Legal Services of Eastern Missouri provides legal assistance in civil cases to the low-income community.
