Henry Givens Jr. was honored by the Webster Groves Board of Education, which voted to rename the Webster Groves Elementary Computer school as the “Dr. Henry Givens Jr. Elementary School.” The president emeritus of Harris-Stowe State University, Givens got his start in education teaching elementary school in the Webster Groves district and rose to assistant superintendent.
