Kevin Cahill, a longtime figure in regional economic development, has announced his retirement from the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership after 11 years with the organization.

As vice president of strategic initiatives, Cahill helped shape major regional efforts, including work with city and county partners on a shared Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy.

He also played a key role in securing a $25 million federal Build Back Better Regional Challenge grant for the St. Louis region. That funding helped launch the Advanced Manufacturing Innovation Center St. Louis, a major workforce and innovation project now under construction in north St. Louis.
