Former St. Louis Cardinals outfielder and first baseman Lonnie Maclin has been inducted into the Greater St. Louis Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame Maclin spent seven years in the Cardinals farm system beginning in 1987.
Maclin attended Ritenour High School of St. Louis, where at various times he played baseball, basketball, and football, wrestled, and ran track. He was drafted by the Cardinals in the 3rd round of the 1986 amateur draft.
Maclin would go on to play for the Amarillo (Texas) Dillas in 1995 and served as player-manager in 2001. He served as manager only the following season.
