Mary E. Nelson was appointed to the University of Missouri Board of Curators by Gov. Jay Nixon. She is general counsel and chief legal officer for the St. Louis Community College District and previously served as an administrative hearing commissioner. She currently serves on the State Highways and Transportation Commission and previously served on the Board of Police Commissioners for St. Louis.
