Mellve Shahid has been appointed by the American Cancer Society to be facilitator of the Man to Man prostate cancer support program in St. Louis city. Shahid is a prostate cancer survivor, the founder of the Empowerment Network, owner of Unique Painting and Decorating, Inc., and a member of the 100 Black Men of Metropolitan St. Louis. Shahid is also a consultant with the Saint Louis University School of Health Prostate Cancer Study.
