Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge, director of St. Louis Lambert International Airport and a staunch supporter of minority business participation at the airport, will retire in the fall of 2026.

Hamm-Niebruegge, known for expanding contracting opportunities for women- and minority-owned businesses, assembled a diverse administrative staff that includes Antonio Strong, deputy director of finance and administration, and Francoise Lyles-Wiggins, assistant director of business diversity and development.

She was instrumental in helping Lambert secure new international service, including nonstop flights to London, and has helped craft a long-term plan to transform the airport in the coming years.

“This has been a remarkable opportunity to transform the airport into not only the transportation center the region needs, but also the modern front door St. Louis deserves,” said Hamm-Niebruegge, who was appointed airport director in January 2010. “The best days for Lambert and for St. Louis lie ahead.”
