Robert A. Powell has been appointed by Mayor Francis G. Slay to the Metropolitan Zoological Park and Museum Board of Directors. Powell is founder and executive director of Portfolio Gallery and Educational Center. As a Park and Museum board member, Powell helps to distributes tax revenues to cultural institutions that total approximately $70 million annually.
