Shira Truitt was recently selected as a hearing officer for the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education. In that capacity, she will conduct expedited hearings for the Office of Special Education.
Truitt was previously employed as the legal compliance officer for the St. Louis Public School District. She is currently the founder and general partner of the Truitt Law Firm in St. Louis, which provides legal counseling in the areas of contract, family, probate, traffic, business, and general law.
