Steven N. Cousins was recently awarded the “World of Opportunity Award” by the St. Louis Internship Program at its 2008 Annual Program Celebration on August 7 at Anheuser-Busch Auditorium. The St. Louis Internship Program (SLIP) is a nationally acclaimed summer work program for minority high school students. For 12 years Cousins served as one of the founding co-chairs of SLIP and currently serves as the director emeritus.
Cousins is an Armstrong Teasdale partner, where he serves as Practice Group Leader Financial Services Group, which focuses on Financial Restructuring, Reorganization and Bankruptcy. He also serves on the firm’s Executive Committee.
