Tara L. Gibbons, principal at Brown & James, P.C., received the 2010 Diverse Business Leaders Award from the St. Louis Business Journal. Gibbons practices in Brown & James’ Belleville, Ill., office. She is a member of the firm’s diversity committee and active in community affairs. She annually participates in St. Clair County’s Amnesty Day offering pro bono legal advice and serves as an adjunct professor for the paralegal program at Southwestern Illinois College.

Hudson has been with the court for 21 years, starting in the fileroom, while attending Rankin Technical College. He is a certified court manager with the National Center of State Courts and the security administrator for the Circuit Clerk’s Office. He is a 1972 graduate of Sumner High School. He is married, with one son and two grandsons.
