The Chamber Music Society of St. Louis has appointed Twinda Murry as director of education, overseeing the organization’s Chamber Academy and music education programs.
Murry spent 34 years teaching orchestra in the Hazelwood, Rockwood, Webster Groves and Ladue school districts. In Ladue, she helped expand student participation in the district’s orchestra program and supported multiple Missouri All-State Orchestra selections.
She also has led community music and violin programs in North St. Louis County and currently directs the Community Music School of Webster University String Orchestra.
