Anthony “Tony” Thompson, president and CEO, Kwame Building Group, recently was recognized by Metro Theater Company as one of 12 outstanding St. Louisans who are “Characters of Courage.” Like the central characters in Battledrum, the honorees have addressed needs by making positive changes. Each will be featured in the Battledrum program book. Staged at the Missouri History Museum Jan. 10-29, Battledrum tells the story of three Civil War-era boys who take a risk, stepping up to help others.
